Good clean communications Diver-to-Diver, Diver-to-Surface and/or Diver-to-SDV (visa-versa) can mean the difference between a successful mission or one that falls short of the mark! We have worked with many Special Operation Teams around the world. The outcome was no two teams operate exactly the same. With this in mind, we put together components that can be configured to suit individual team requirements. Pictured above is a long range system using the LAR-5 existing hose and mouth device. It is compact in design and allows the diver to easily remove the system as a package. The system consists of an OTS LAR- Adapter, dual phase transducer assembly (patent pending) and a high power transceiver. In a recent test, we actually achieved ranges in excess of 5,500 meters! |
