Being in business always finds you amazed and astonished at
what pops up. Recently, a new toy emerged that caught my attention.
I mean really caught my attention! A company named, Toy's Irmail has come up with
a new toy called, "USSOCOM
NAVY SEAL UDT - AGA MASK VERSION." The toy is a GI Joe type with lots of
accessories. The details are amazing to say the least. The accessories
that caught my eye was our MAGNACOM Special
Warfare Single Sideband transceiver, High-Use Connectors, OTS
Push-to-talk assembly, Earphones and AGA/Interspiro Full face
mask! Further, the packaging used a picture I took...All
this was done without OTS having any knowledge. The question
is: do you get mad or flattered?
This is not the first time we have noticed our product's being
copied or made similar. On a visit to Korea I noticed a group
of Korean Seals working out in our tee-shirts. It kind of made
me feel good. However, in the middle of my training I noticed
the tee shirts were not really OTS shirts. They were copies using
our pictures and art work. Again, do you get mad or flattered?
For those of you who may wonder how I felt, I was more on the
flattered side:) Michael
