It became evident that OTS would need a demonstration tape featuring divers talking underwater. Mike Pelissier put together one of the first underwater housings that allowed communications to be directly recorded underwater. It did not take long for the Movie Industry to take advantage of this money saving technology.   In 1991 OTS won a "Technical Emmy Award." This supported the fact OTS underwater communications worked for the Movie Industry.
