The Com-port which is part of the MTS-BUD
has a Push-to-talk control and patented All depth
Super Mic® included. The MTS-BUD Buddy Phone®
transceiver simply installs onto the full face masks head strap.
When the diver enters the water, the MTS-BUD powers up and cycles
to the receive mode - ready to receive a message. When the diver/s
want to transmit, they simply depress the PTT button located
on the com-port and talk. All divers and/or surface stations
within range and on the same frequency will hear the message.
The MTS-BUDS is a packaged system. The
package is complete with (1) MTS-BUD transceiver including the
Super Mic®, push-to-talk assembly installed
on a Mantis ffm (Either black or clear).
The Super Mic® was
specifically designed for the Sport Diver allowing them to take
the mask off at any depth and still not damage the microphone
element!
