SCU-BUD Buddy Phone®

The SCU-BUD Buddy Phone® transceiver has been specifically designed as an acoustic underwater telephone to be used with a Scuba Pro full face mask.  It uses ultrasonic, upper single sideband for transmission.  The diver utilizes his own 2nd stage regulator.  The SCU-BUD comes complete with the Scuba Pro adapter com-plug that easily installs onto the Scuba Pro full face mask.  The com-plug has a Push-to-talk control and patented HotMic® incorporated.  The Buddy Phone® transceiver simply installs onto the full face masks head strap.  When the diver enters the water, the SCU-BUD powers up and cycles to the receive mode - ready to receive a message.  When the diver/s want to transmit, they simply depress the PTT button located on the com-plug and talk.  All divers and/or surface stations within range and on the same frequency will hear the message.

The SCU-BUDS is a packaged system.  The package is complete with (1) com-plug including PTT control, HotMic®, and SCU-BUD Buddy Phone®.  The SCU-BUD, Scuba Pro full face mask combination is comfortable and sounds great.
